Project Peace Pal Film Premiere

Project PeacePal will be presenting the world premiere of Stealing the Light, a documentary film about the destruction of a peaceful school in war-torn Afghanistan by filmmaker Aimie Burns, on April 9^th at the KiMo Theater in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Project PeacePal is an international peace through education pen pal organization that strives to create the next generation of leaders and peace builders through international friendships and the application of peace-building skills in daily life.

Founded in 2007 in order to build a way for young people around the world to experience each others' cultures based on friendship, PeacePal's standards-based curriculum and activities are used in classrooms and provide students throughout the world a way to learn about life in far-away places, develop respect for other cultures and religions, and new solutions for creating a more peaceful world.
