Transcending Borders Conference

Transcending Borders Conference
in

TRANSCEND-USA in collaboration with TRANSCEND International and Dr. Johan Galtung present our 2nd annual conference.

This year’s topic will be Transcending Borders: Canada, Mexico, and the United States. We will be exploring narratives for future cross border engagement collaboration and policy debate.

The symposium will be held at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Students, conflict workers, and scholars from Canada, Mexico, and the United States will meet to discuss opportunities for cross-border collaborations in a 21st Century global community, work on interactive demonstrations and learning tools, display student projects on the topics, and gather to build community.

Registration is on a sliding scale and student rates are available as work scholarships for helping with the event. Please contact the Conflict Studies office at (336) 334 – 4781 or jnboraws@uncg.edu for further information.
