Jakarta, Indonesia. Gudeg Rice

This was my last dinner, and as the titled say, it is called Gudeg rice or in bahasa "Nasi Gudeg". Gudeg rice has been known as one of local food from Yogyakarta. one of our beloved provinces in Indonesia. You can easily find it in most area of Yogyakarta. Thanks to the popularity of this food, now we can easily find it in Jakarta too.
I ate Gudeg rice in one restaurant, called " Adem Ayem" Means " Serene ".
The contains of gudeg rice in the picture are :
1. Chicken mix with coconut milk and little bit of sugar, this chicken came from local farm. It is because the chef believe in preserve its taste, it should be local, and not a broiler chicken.
2. jack fruit from local (the one with brown color). the jackfruit plantation could be found in most of forests in Indonesia. sometimes it could be find in the private garden too.
3. Kerecek (the yellowish one) its the cracker and made from the skin of the cow. in this picture the cracker has been mix with gravy. this one also from local.
4. Egg (round and had brown color) it came from the local farm.
5. Rice = it is from Cianjur (near east Java)
nowadays gudeg rice is easily to be find especially in Java island, it has been a product for street vendor too. They could sell it in the market or near the streets with cart. its very cheap too, gudeg rice only cost you about 1,5Us$ in traditional market, but the price could be higher in modern market or restaurant, it could cost you about 2-3 us$, its almost twice of the price yet people still eager to buy it in modern market.
